Hey!
It's the end of March and where I'm sitting, March is looking to leave pretty much like it arrived, like a lion. My woodshop is mostly dry and mostly warm, and sadly underused right now. I'm hoping that's about to change so that I can get some woodworking done.
The Admin Team has good news. The site is in good shape for the rest of the year. We're working behind the scenes to better protect the site from all sorts of things that either have or could go wrong. It's good to have a plan, right? And it's good to work that plan.
What sorts of woodworking are on your plate right now? Have you considered sharing what you do with the rest of the SSUG community? What you are doing just might be the point of inspiration needed to get a fellow SS user off the couch, away from the 'puter, and next to that wonderful machine that we all hold so dear.
Never posted on SSUG? This would be a good time, especially this weekend when a lot of the country is going to be less than hospitable for being outside. Talk to us! Tell us who you are and what you're doing in the way of woodwork. My own "schtick" right now has been turning wooden pens for the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan through the Freedom Pen Project. That and making maple rattles for the profusion of youngsters being born into my work and church communities. Lots of fun!
Stay safe, make lots of sawdust, and share about the results!
